Plain terms for the subscription.

Carbonline Studio designs, builds, and hosts the site. These are the parts people usually have to hunt for.

You own the site

You own your domain, your words, your photos, and your design. When you leave and the account is paid up, we send your site files. Our platform stays ours. Stock photos and other licenses we bought stay with us. Our name comes off the site, and support ends unless you come back on a plan.

Your domain, your content, your photos, and your design are yours. Carbonline hosts the site while the subscription is active. We do not keep ownership of the website as a condition of the service.

The export is provided only when the account is paid in full. That means no outstanding balance and no unpaid early-exit fee. The export is your site files and content. Carbonline's platform, portal, automations, hosting configuration, templates, components, and code library remain Carbonline's property. You receive a license to use the exported site for your own business. That license does not let you resell or redistribute Carbonline's system.

There is no buyout fee for that export. Studio has no minimum term, so the export is available whenever you cancel, still only once the account is paid in full. You may also stay on hosting-only instead of taking the files.

Third-party licensed assets do not transfer. Stock photos, premium fonts, and plugins purchased under Carbonline licenses stay with Carbonline. You need to license your own if you want to keep using them.

After you leave, Carbonline branding and credit are removed. The site may not say it is managed by Carbonline. Carbonline does not provide support after exit. If you come back for fixes, that work is billed through the normal fixed-price add-ons or a plan.

No hourly billing

Updates come from the allowance on your plan, or from a fixed-price update pack. Every add-on has a price you see before you buy. Carbonline does not bill customization by the hour.

How long you stay

Essential and Growth monthly plans have a 6-month minimum, then continue month to month. Studio is month to month, with a $499 setup fee, and the site is yours to keep after 6 paid months. Annual billing is one year paid ahead, with two months free, and it renews each year at the then-current annual price unless you cancel at least 30 days before the renewal date. If that deadline is missed, the plan continues for one final month at the monthly price instead of another year. We email a confirmation when annual billing starts, and reminders 60 and 45 days before renewal.

Cancellation takes 30 days' notice and ends at the close of the billing period in which those 30 days run out. The cancel button is always available. Leaving Essential or Growth before 6 months means paying the waived $499 setup fee and taking the site down, or paying the remaining months and keeping it. We charge the card only after you confirm the amount. Monthly add-ons have no minimum. Cancelling one stops that service immediately, with no refund for the rest of the month, and it can change how the site works. If a payment is 14 days past due the site is suspended. At 30 days the plan is cancelled. There is no export while money is owed. A return from hosting-only within 12 months has no new setup fee and a 3-month minimum.
